NLL Minors Coaches Mid-Season Survey

Neshaminy Little League (NLL) is interested in feedback from you about our coaches at all levels. For the benefit of your child, NLL coaches are given a list of items, which need to be addressed before your child moves up to the next level of baseball. The list can become quite extensive as the game gets more involved beginning at the T-Ball level (under 6 yrs old) up to the Majors Division (12 yr olds).

Below is a short list of baseball items. Some items that you may have expected to see here may be addressed at another level. Please let us know if your coach as addressed that particular item during practices at this time.

Taught to step out of batters box 

Taught to look at 3rd base coach for signs

Taught how to bunt

Taught to be selective

 

Base Running:

Demonstrates aggressive base running 

Taught to jump off base once ball crosses the plate

Taught how to slide

Taught how to tag up on a fly ball

 

Coaching

How much practice time did your coach provide for your team?

Did your coach seem to explain the game of baseball to the team?

Was your coach patient in explaining new lessons or drills?

Did your coach maintain control during practices?

Does your child look forward going to baseball?
